Aptevo B More™ Scholarship

Covers any post-high school education, including undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, trade schools, and certifications in the U.S.

Candidate:

  • This scholarship is open to people with hemophilia B.
  • There is no age limit.

Georgia Northway Memorial Scholarship

Offered by Midwest Hemophilia Association and Truman Heartland Foundation, this scholarship is available to high school seniors and college students diagnosed with a bleeding disorder who are pursuing an undergraduate degree.

Candidate:

  • High school seniors and college students diagnosed with a bleeding disorder.
  • Must be in good standing with Midwest Hemophilia Association (MHA).

Hemophilia Federation of America Educational Scholarship

Two scholarships available in the amount of $2,000 each.

Candidate:

  • Open to those with a blood-clotting disorder pursuing education at any accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocation/tech school in the U.S.

Hemophilia Federation of America Parent/Sibling/Child Continuing Education Scholarship

One scholarship is available in the amount of $2,000 for post-secondary college, university, or trade school education.

Candidate:

  • Must be an immediate family member of someone with a bleeding disorder.

Hemophilia Federation of America Medical/Healthcare Services Educational Scholarship

One scholarship is available in the amount of $4,000.

Candidate:

  • Someone with a bleeding disorder or related to someone with a bleeding disorder. Must be pursuing a degree related to medical sciences or healthcare services.

Hemophilia of Iowa Scholarship

Available scholarships opportunities:

  • Bleeding disorders (up to $1,000)
  • Immediate family member of someone with a bleeding disorder (up to $750)
  • John Heisner Scholarship (up to $500)
  • Dude Cremer Scholarship (up to $500)
  • (Note: The John Heisner and Dude Cremer scholarships are awarded to those who have supported the mission of Hemophilia of Iowa, Inc.)

Candidate:

  • High school graduate before or in 2017.
  • Member of Hemophilia of Iowa (HOI) through Dec. 31, 2017.
  • Member must be part of HOI service area.
  • Must have a diagnosed bleeding disorder or be an immediate family member (sibling, child, or caregiver) of someone who has a diagnosed bleeding disorder (a diagnosed bleeding disorder is defined as a person who is following a treatment plan).
  • Verification of diagnosis maybe required from your physician upon request (we will notify you if this is required).
  • Be enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college, university, or trade school in the
  • U.S. during the 2017–2018 academic year for a minimum of six credit hours.

Mark Dudley Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship for post-secondary education.

Candidate:

  • This scholarship is open to any post-secondary undergraduate student who has been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder and lives in western Missouri or eastern Kansas.
  • The scholarship may be used for college or trade school during the 2017-2018 school year. Funds may be used at the discretion of the recipient (i.e. books, tuition, room and board, etc.)

Midwest Hemophilia Association Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship for post-secondary education.

Candidate:

  • This scholarship is open to any post-secondary undergraduate student who has been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder and lives in western Missouri or eastern Kansas.

Soozie Courter Hemophilia Scholarship Program

Ten $2,500 college undergraduate scholarships and five $4,000 graduate scholarships are available.

Candidate:

  • For individuals with hemophilia A or B, or those who are a carrier.
  • High school seniors or students enrolled in junior college, college (undergraduate or graduate), or vocational school.
  • Students who have completed high school or an equivalent program (e.g., graduate equivalent to a diploma GED).
