The DAISY Award celebrates the skillful and compassionate care that nurses provide every day. We’re proud to recognize Jackie English, R.N., B.S.N., who received the DAISY Award in honor of her extraordinary nursing care.
Jackie was twice nominated for the DAISY Award by the mothers of two patients. Her nominations read in part:
“Jackie has been a blessing to our family. She has gone above and beyond with my daughter’s care, especially when we were struggling with constant hemophilia bleeding episodes and the difficulties it caused her in high school. Jackie is kind and wonderful to us, and we are grateful for the help we receive from her. When no one else would listen to me at the ER, Jackie was there.”
“Jackie is so wonderful with my daughter, who is autistic and gets anxious about infusions. She is very calm and reassuring. After Jackie left, my daughter even commented that ‘she is really good, Mom.’ That means EVERYTHING to me.”
Congratulations to Jackie, who like so many ARJ nurses, deserves a big thank you for her dedication to providing compassionate nursing care to our amazing patients!
