(April 10, 2018) Today chronic diseases account for a significant portion of healthcare costs and require unique patient support and care coordination.
Governor Jeff Colyer’s visit to ARJ Infusion Services will include an in-depth look at the treatment protocols and logistics of home infusion care for children and adults with rare, chronic, and complex disorders.
“It’s important to hear directly from those on the frontlines to understand the complexity involved in managing chronic conditions,” said Colyer. “It’s important we find ways to eliminate challenges for people who require care.”
Colyer has made healthcare a top priority. As a practicing physician, he understands the challenges Kansans face every day in receiving quality healthcare for people in rural and urban communities.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting the governor and other officials. It’s important they’re part of the conversation about specialty care,” said Lisa Sackuvich, owner and president of ARJ Infusion Services. “The pharmaceutical and healthcare landscape is evolving, making it harder to stay competitive as an independent specialty home infusion pharmacy.”
Participants visiting ARJ include Jeff Colyer, M.D., Governor of Kansas; Jeff Andersen, Secretary of Health and Environment; and other local Kansas legislators.
