What if something goes wrong with my equipment?

There is a number to call on the PromptCare sticker that is placed on your equipment. If you call during regular business hours (M-F, 8:30-4 p.m. EST), follow the phone prompts to report an equipment issue. If you are calling after hours, please follow the appropriate phone prompts and a member of our team will call you back within 20 minutes.

How do I order my supplies?

You can order your supplies by emailing your assigned Customer Service Representative or by using the VerbalCare app on your device.

What if there is a recall on my equipment?

If there is an equipment recall, we follow the FDA and manufacturer mandates by sending a letter with the necessary information to those patients who are impacted. We also usually post this information on our website. If there is a ventilator recall, we may call impacted patients to explain the recall details and provide instructions per the manufacturer.

How do I update my insurance information?

It’s important you keep PromptCare informed of any changes to your insurance. Please call 800-776-6782 to inform us of any insurance changes.

How do I get my equipment picked up?

Patients usually need their medical provider to send an order to PromptCare to discontinue the equipment and schedule a pick up.

What is invasive ventilation?

Invasive ventilation is when oxygen is delivered to the lungs through a tracheostomy tube that is connected to a ventilator machine. It is used to assist breathing when patients cannot breathe on their own.

What is non-invasive ventilation?

Non-invasive ventilation is a type of breathing support usually given through a face mask or mouthpiece. Non-invasive ventilation is used to treat a variety of respiratory conditions.
